Tsivlos Lake, O Paradeisos

We managed to get down to the sea for swim before work, today, and then in the evening, we took one of the recommendations of the AirBnB host and drove up into the mountains to Tsivlos Lake.

We'd planned to swim there, too, but it was just getting dark by the time we arrived, so we settled for dinner at the lakeside restaurant, O Paradeisos. I think we'll come back and try another time, although it's a fairly epic drive up the winding mountain road.

When we arrived back at the village, we were surprised to find the surrounding roads lined with parked cars. It transpired that there was a concert in the square, and it looked as though people had come from miles around. It was traditional music and whilst it wasn't quite my cup of tea, I was impressed by the singers and particularly the players (see Extras).
