Worm's Eye View

I didn't give this project the time and attention it deserved but something went wrong with my camera with the best lens for it. Probably just lack of use as I feel I have been relying almost solely on my phone which is much easier to have with me at all times than a big camera. A lame excuse, but it's all I've got....I do like the plant which has grown down over the sides of its pot since I got it. It would look good in one of those plant pots that look like a woman's head....

The weather has been quite weird today...overcast and warm with a spot of rain and predicted thunderstorms which never materialized. I went to a Pilates class where we stood on a box on the floor with one foot on the carriage...as close as I have come so far to standing on a moving carriage. I swore I would never do that, and made quite a fuss amongst the teachers about it, but things do change, and I did manage it without making a spectacle of myself so all in all a good class.

I washed and changed the sheets on the beds before getting stuck into the quilt project. I have learned from experience that anything that really needs doing should be done before I start on the quilt as I tend to become obsessed about it and completely lose track of time. I'm thinking of giving it to Maya, but I'm not sure the colors will fit into her slightly Goth phase. Tim is looking into it for me, but I'm not sure how well he will be able to complete the assignment. I many have to recruit Joni for her opinion.

I'm putting a picture of the computer drawing of succulents Maya did for John for his birthday in extras. We're all looking into the best way to have it converted into a print. Tim said it didn't look very good on his printer, even with photo paper. I'm going to try it on mine, but I doubt if it will be much better as it could even be the same printer....

If anybody out there has done anything like this I'd love to know how you did it. 
 
Thanks to everybody who sympathised with Maya and her headaches. I think they have probably already done it, but I will definitely find out if they have had her eyes checked.
