A neighbourly sort of day...

...which was a great substitute as Neighbours lost its slot on our screens after 30odd years...

Tomatoes from Graham, plums from Sheila, and we gave Muriel a hand with some clearing out of the garage etc which culminated in a trip to the tip.

The worm's eye view under the car is more like the view Edie and Rory saw as they retrieved their ball - they are the grandkids of Graham and Diane, and it took us back to when their mum and brother used to play cricket in the street in exactly the same way :)

The extra is in Brian and Sheila's garden - apparently Brian woke up with a start at 4am and said, "I've forgotten the flag for Yorkshire day!" I don't think either of them got back to sleep... :)
