Life in Color

This evening I was preparing for an open house - to introduce our new grandson to extended family. I was happy to have some Nanking cherry pie filling on hand - cherries hand-picked in our back yard. It is so colorful drizzled over cheese cake, not to mention tart and tasty! I have also been savoring the National Geographic coffee table book called Life in Color. The two just seemed to pair up naturally for a photo.
