Das ist eine Ente

We went to Polesden Lacey today and saw the exhibition of Precious Treasures. It was an interesting exhibition and well done although it seemed to involve a lot of walking.

The title is a family joke. One of the sentences when you are learning German through the Duolingo app is 'Das ist keine Ente' (that is not a duck). It became my son's favourite phrase, because as he pointed out, it is almost always true. Except in cases like this where it is in fact a duck (eine Ente).

Last night we watched the first episode of Death in Paradise and it was really good. I'm hoping we can watch the next episode soon.
