This beautiful Heron posed for me as we headed out to the beach at Goolwa.  We were keen to walk the beach where Storm Boy was filmed. (See extra)
We’re camped tonight at Cape Jervis and will head to Adelaide tomorrow morning before heading north to Port August where we will turn south east and head to Western Australia.  Cape Jervis is where the Sea Link Ferry takes tourists across to Kangaroo Island.  That’s definitely going on the “Wish List”.
The Fleurieu Peninsula has been an absolute eye opener for both of us.  We had no idea just how diverse the scenery and the wildlife would be.  We will try very hard to return to home via the same route.  We just can’t get enough of this region.
