Cape Jervis to Adelaide

We woke to the most amazing scenery today at Cape Jervis.  It just seemed to get better and better as the day went on.  This was the scene looking back towards the Cape as we drove to Adelaide early this morning. The highlight of the day was meeting up with Julia, Deidre and Ruby who we had met at Streaky Bay as we travelled to the West last year.  I posted an extra of Ruby on my post on the 21st of April 2021.  I was pleased to see Julia join as a blipper when Rubythe pelican1 appeared on blip a few days later :). I’ve just added an extra tonight of little Ruby who has to be one of the sweetest little dogs on the planet.  I do love Aussie Terriers!!

After our catch up this morning we headed to Hahndorf and ended up at Beerenberg Farm Shop for lunch.  We had three minutes to spare before they closed the kitchen and boy were we delighted that we just squeaked our order in (see extra).  We came away absolutely loaded with a range of their wonderful produce.  I have been a massive fan of their products for many years and I was in heaven today as I walked around their amazing display.

We’re only a stones throw away from the Barossa Valley tonight and I’m really looking forward to taking Mauzee to Maggie Beers Pheasant Farm tomorrow.  I’m sure she’s going to love it and it’s so good to be able to see the kitchen where she filmed the Cook and the Chef.
