Between the Waves

One of thhe best things about Blip is its community, and the ability to make friends wit people you've never met. Today I met up with Blipper KennyRiley  (whose down here from Scotland for a week) we had a brew and a walk along the shores of Derwentwater. (Extra) We had a great few hours taking a few pics and talking about pretty well anything!

In the evening I'd been invited by one of my neighbours to go along to the Keswick Rugby Club for the very first gig of a band he and some of his friends have put together between the various waves of lockdown (Hence the bands name) They'd never played a note to a live audience before and did an excellent set (some of them hadn't played any instruments until they first got together.

The gig was free, but donations were taken for the Ukrainian appeal, raising almost £500. As you can see, there was an enthusiastic audience, and a great time was had by all.
