In the main Street

The first three weeks of the Summer Holidays are usually taken up by the Christian Convention in Keswick. However, this chap was "preaching" in the Main Street in Keswick, and you'll appreciate once you read his sign - it caused quite a stir! He also preaches that the Big Bang theory is wrong, and that God did create the Earth in 6 days. Apparently he lives in West Cumbria and is prone to stirring up hatred.

The Convention was quick to point out that he was nothing to do with them, as their main speaker that evening was a woman, from Egypt. 

Everyone in the square was appalled - he was misogynistic, homophobic, and religiously discriminatory.  In half an hour of "preaching" a lady asked the police to move him on (which they didn't) then this dragon arrived and started singing the most amazing operatic arias, which drowned him out.

After I moved on, a local workman took his sign (having asked him to move it, as it was offensive) and put it in the nearest bin.

Never a dull moment in Keswick!
