Hummingbird Hawk-Moth

I'm pretty sure that's what this UFO is. I realise it's not a great quality image, but I'm amazed a got anything as he was flitting rapidly from one lavender flower to another and was only there for about 5 minutes. I got just 3 shots with only this one in any sort of focus. I liked his beady eyes.

We are home now from Southampton but are off again to Somerset tomorrow for a funeral on Saturday. We called in to Tescos on the way home to buy a sandwich for lunch and something for this evening and it was heaving. School holidays I suppose.

I've just put the bins out. It's all go here!

Just discovered we left our Tilley hats in Southampton. Our friends have posted them to us.
