Texan Scouts

After trudging our way up from St Andrews harbour we heard the sound of bagpipes being played.
As we reached the Cathedral ruins we spotted the piper and this wonderful troup of American Scouts from Texas who were on route to the grounds of Blair Atholl Castle where they were going to be part of an international Jamborette (small jamboree). COVID circumstances have prevented a full scale jamboree.

I hope they all have a wonderful time. I have very fond memories of the International Guide Camp I was at in Denmark  …. just 52 years ago…..where have those years gone!
