Life at 45 rpm

Eben recently discovered the delights of making mixtapes - he was visiting some old friends of Ruth's, who still have old-school hifi separates. This has prompted Richard to rescue all his hifi gear from the garage, reassemble it and go through his overwhelmingly enormous vinyl collection. He has thoroughly enjoyed himself :-)

His 45s are now neatly encased in little paper sleeves, and arranged in alphabetical order in boxes. The LP collection was already all neatly stored on shelves, so we have been enjoying various old favourites on the rescued record player.

I don't think it will be too long before Richard and Eben are ensconced by the hifi, putting together a few more tapes...
