Been an odd week so far, just haven't got my teeth into what needs doing - but because we have a handyman on site, the house is still moving forward to completion.

We scored a $50 window for the bathroom the other day - and here it is installed. Unfortunately the window it replaces is much larger. Which leaves the problem of filling the old gap up. We worked out that it was 8inch clap board and so off I went looking for the stuff.

50 miles later I had found the only supplier in the county who was at pains to tell me that the bundle was the last of his clapboard. He sells maybe 10 feet of it per month now.

We'll get the yellow paint matched later on, and then get it painted to match.

Note that someone also put a different size clap board on the house at somepoint hence the odd lines.
