End of the week

Been looking forward to this job, reinforcing a set of stairs at one of the new units. Essentially the steps have (had) a little play in them and we weren't happy with them.

Rather than pulling the old ones off, I decided it was easier to lay a new treated 2x8 on top, and a treat 2x4 on the front of each step vertically. Screw the whole lot down. The front 2x4 should stop the 2x8s bending so much. Built up the hand rail (badly), and put up new bannisters. I wouldn't personally throw myself on the guard rail, but it's a lot better than what it was.
