Some like it hot ,,,

But not our plants! My blip shows the thermometer which I put in the shade on the north wall of our house this morning. By 16h it had risen to 31 degrees. We had drawn all our curtains and kept the windows closed and therefore spent most of our day in darkened rooms. Good for reading and writing but not for any strenuous outdoor activities. Tomorrow is forecast to be even hotter. Yikes!
