Pitsford Reservoir Again

Another grey day here in Northampton. Spent the morning waiting for Scarlett to wake up to in order to have an assessment of her suitability to drive. If she wasn't in a good enough condition we were going to go to collect her.
Imagine my surprise when a 'phone call at 11am produced the result that she was already home. You have to hand it to her.I promised to visit after she had had a good long sleep.
We decided to go to Pitsford Reservoir to test out a replacement for the stock Canon lens.
Mosquito hell on a stick... there seems to be theme running through my life at the moment... Well we ran across the reservoir bridge thing (sorry don't know technical term). Braving the clouds of mozzies,spitting them out, trying not to breathe them in,ruffling our hair to get them off, we stopped and took turns photographing items of interest.
After this we went to see Scarlett... OMG incredible! she never told me about the marble sized pustules on each mosquito bite.....

I didn't feel like eating supper after that.
