Will and Jane

Today's the day ...................... for family relationships

It was so good to have a visit today from Jane, her daughter Megan and Megan's husband, Elliot.  They came for some lunch and then we all went out for a walk, in and around Kirkcudbright which gave Tessa and Josie a chance to run off some energy (see extra).

Now, I hope I'm right in saying that, as Jane's mother is Will's first cousin - that makes Jane, Will's first cousin once removed?  And therefore, it would follow that Megan is Will's cousin twice removed?  There is going to be some sort of family relationship between Tessa and Josie and Jane - but that's way beyond my grasp of genealogy.

Suffice to say that we all enjoyed each other's company and spent a lovely few hours together ........................!
