Hey! ..... You Down There......

Has Father Christmas ever given you a present like this down the chimney before?
Ohhhh that felt good.

It was warm today - but nothing like the blast furnace conditions they had been forecasting (typical).
It was sticky though.

Deliveries took less time today - there was a distinct lack of traffic (school holidays maybe).

After lunch it took an hour and a half to clean and restring the rotary dryer .... energy sapping and back breaking.

We found out that Katie's funeral is on Tuesday morning so we will be heading to Inverness on Monday - unlike a couple of the sisters-in-law who are driving up at the crack of dawn on Tuesday morning. No Thank You!
Of course, I have had to let Debbie at The Larder that I will not be able to do the delivery ..... from next week it is moving to a Tuesday.
I sent her an email with the route I use - not the order that is on their list. It will mean that whoever does the job will save about 2 hours and half the mileage if they followed the list.
