Plans to go to the European Stone Stacking Competition today were cancelled after I looked at the web site and they were saying that access to the beach was being restricted and there "may" be groups allowed onto the beach.... but you could look from the paths above (which is quite a distance).

So my adventures took me as far as the postbox, so my pictures were a handful of weedy things, spikey things and smelly things (over here).

I have done some sanding and varnishing on the world's worst box and some sieving of various kinds of wood dust & shavings (I say shavings but they are very small) to get rid of the 'bits'. The dust gets used for filling cracks etc..
