Aloe aloe

My teamie, Lizzie moved house today, so I got her a card and plant to say ‘happy new home’.

Actually, although Liz has bought the house, her mum will be the one living there and it’s an investment for them both.

I was hand hovering over a general card; it was Mr A who spotted the aloe one and suggested we give her one of our baby tiger aloes as a gift. He’s a bloody marvel!

Lizzie was made up with it and even more so when I said she could sneak off early today as there were only the two of us in work.

I did have an ulterior motive; I wanted the place to myself so I could get my head down and crack on with paperwork without interruption. And that I did, I even stayed 90 minutes after clocking off time, which made up for what I couldn’t get done yesterday ;-)
