Heads and hearts

I reallly didn’t feel well this morning; my head felt like it had been in a vice.
Still, I had work, so started getting myself ready.
I’d just finished my makeup when I had to go and throw up….I’ve not had a migraine like that in a looooooong time.

We’ve already got a member of staff off at the moment (with sepsis, poor girl) so I felt obliged to go to work as we were already short staffed.
However, when I called Linda to say I wasn’t well, she ordered me straight back home.

I spent most of the day in bed, in a darkened room but did manage to deal with a couple of work emails (through a very squinty eye).

The best I can offer today are my shiny new earrings (and matching pendant) :-)
