Garth Pier, Bangor

This a family selfie. You can just about make us out on the end of the pier. This is Garth Pier in Bangor, on the Menai Strait between Wales and Anglesey. We stopped off to walk along the pier and then continued over the Menai Bridge to Penmon Point where we had a view of Penmon Lighthouse and Puffin Island whilst having a picnic in the car. After lunch we walked over the see the interesting geological phenomenon known as the Sea Bridge.

Then we visited Beaumaris, walked around the town and went in to explore the amazing castle once the coach party had gone.
