Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 238

The Portobello Can Can - within a three hundred metre span of the surf at low tide early this morning I came across three energy drink cans. This Red Bull was the first - are they really £1.99 each? ( This ignorance of the price proves to any doubters that I do not need such additives for my morning run!) The second was a Monster Energy green can and the third was another Red Bull. Did they come from one of the anchored tankers in the Forth? Where they used by late night revellers or was it just coincidence that they are washed up together.

The summer cruise ship visits have begun with the early morning arrival, for South Queensferry , of MSC Magnifica - with a capacity of 3605 passengers and 1027 crew. How will the Haws Inn and the wee gift shops there cope with all those visitors!

(My work trip to Copenhagen today has been postponed until the autumn due to industrial action by some of the Danes.)
