Annabelle
It was another busy day - lots of ironing after the weekend, then I also went to the dry cleaner and walked Xena. It was warm today but so windy, I don't remember June being so blustery in previous years?
The highlight of our garden in the summer is when the Annabelle hydrangeas bloom, they are gorgeous with huge white spherical heads of flowers, and they are planted around the front and back of the house. This is a close up of the tiny flowers that make up those large heads.
Tonight it is the last meeting of our camera group that has been run by a teacher at the boys' old school, our group has been going for nearly 10 years now and it has finally come to an end. We plan to meet once a month on zoom and to go out for some outdoor photography but I am not sure if that will actually happen. I organised a collection of funds for a present for the two people who have organised our meetings over the years, everyone was very generous and they are each getting a very decent amount in vouchers from Wex Photography plus another member has prepared a photobook of all our photo projects over the years which will be a wonderful memento for them. We are meant to be going out for late drinks after the meeting finishes but I will skip that as I have nights out every night this week.
