The Ring of Brodgar

What a treat!  Today we are on the beautiful Isle of Orkney, and the sun is actually shining!

We visited the fascinating archaeological site of the neolithic dwellings at Skara Brae (see extra) as well as Skaill House, then it was off to the amazing standing stones at the Ring of Brodgar, as well as the Stones of Steness, and finally a visit to Scapa Flow with its sad tale of WWII sinkings.
