I was all in before a memory was made

Yesterday (well this morning) I made brief mention of the gifts which K and A presented me with.  

Oh such a time i had opening them.  Can you see my vases?  they are quite difficult to photograph so that you can see them.  Little test tubes, hanging from frames.  Luckily I had pins in the window frames from my Christmas lights. 

I drank half a bottle of one of the spirits K had got me.  Tis my favourite spirit - Wild Turkey and this was the liqueur version.   Oh heavens It's very easy to drink... too easy maybe, not maybe, definitely. 

It's been a very quiet day - we moved only once to go to Sainsbury to collect something, which wasn't there.  So we came home and I have lain on the couch mostly the rest of the day.

And very shortly I am going to bed.
