Melting moment

The air temperature rose to 28 degrees. In the conservatory it was off the scale! This summer weather is such a treat for us expat Scots. Less good for some of our plants!

My day began with a very early voluntary shift in town. Home admin when I got back for brunch.

We had a lovely catch up with our son in law’s mother and enjoyed her cream tea very much this afternoon.

This evening we enjoyed our supper in the garden listening to birdsong and church bells floating on the warm night air.
