What heatwave?

The forecast said hot. We thought there might be a bit of a breeze on the beach to keep us cool.   Well it was certainly cool. The sky was overcast and it was quite windy, so no chance of overheating. 

The tide was coming in and as always it was very relaxing listening to the swoosh swoosh of the waves . The water was quite a distance from the shore but within 5 minutes it had raced in. It really does come in as fast as a car, which has proved treacherous  for folks in the past. Mo problem for us as the beach then slopes up and the high tide mark is below the rocks so no chance of us been trapped. 

A quick stop at 'baby Tesco' on the way home. We haven't been in there for a long while and I realised why, there isnt as much choice.  But I got a few essentials to tide us over till Monday.
