For Jeremy and Bob

Jeremy, a spectacularly fit pianist and dancer, felt weak yesterday, so weak that his husband called 911. Jeremy spent the night in the ER, and this morning when he tried to walk, he couldn't move his feet. They are awaiting a full neurological examination.

One piece of music we have enjoyed together is Morten Lauridsen's setting of James Agee's poem, "Sure on this shining night."
