Fungus

Grey skies and drizzle all day today but managed to pot a few plants before it became too heavy.
This log has been sitting outside the front door for over a year with intention of treating it in some way to use it as something to sit on but never got round to it. It's developed some interesting fungus on it though.

Said yes to go and see a band called Bellowhead, an English contemporary folk band who will be playing just for one night in November. It's nearly sold out though I must admit I'd never heard of the band so listened to a few songs on YouTube and liked the sound of them.
