Misty beach

This morning I had to be persuaded to go for a walk along the beach because I had 'things to do in the house'. How glad I was I went because it was lovely walking along the sand in the slight rain and mist. We'd planned to walk a few miles along the sand then back over the cliffs but the tide has come in cutting us off. We could have taken our shoes and socks off and paddled through the water but we were wimps and turned around and walked back.
