Glasgow Taxi Outing to Troon

We couldn't have asked for a better day for the annual outing for disadvantaged children to Troon by Glasgow taxi drivers!

The town was inundated by about 120 taxis, most of them decorated colourfully with balloons, parked along the prom as far as the eye could see. The children and their carers seemed to be having a wonderful time.

Extra  -  some of the taxi drivers wore fancy dress!

Re Monday's blip we realised that the beach was being spruced up for today's special visitors.
