Cottages in morning sunlight

I went out early this morning to try and get a decent photo of a couple of the old cottages in the village - you have to catch them early as they face east and when the sun gets higher they retreat into shadow. I've taken a photo of the cottage on the left with the birds on the roof from the other side here. The thatched roof is pretty, but the rest a bit unattractive due to the lack of windows. I like the white cottage though.

We have a Tesco grocery delivery due to arrive this morning, then gardening will probably be on the agenda as it's a nice day today and there is still a lot more to do.
