Flowers in the village

I walked to Home Group and back today as I really felt I needed some exercise, having spent yesterday indoors. It was actually fairly warm and quite sunny too - the rain that we were supposed to have during the day seems to have not materialised. I saw the tulip in a lovely display near the shops and the peonies were flowering along one of the side roads in a garden. They seem to be very early this year - I'm sure peonies usually flower in May. The flowers are huge too - much bigger than last year's. I also noticed some Red Valerian that is already partly out - now, that is definitely early!

A Tesco delivery is imminent as hubby is around today to help pack it away! ;-))
