Thanks to generous gift certificates from Phil's daughters, we're enjoying a water-view room and dinner at The Chrysalis Inn and Spa tonight. It's a 12-minute drive from our home, adjacent to the Taylor Dock Boardwalk pictured here.

The last six months have not been easy, with a range of health challenges and home improvements that disrupted our usual rhythms. A night away in this serene place would, I think, be just what the proverbial doctor ordered.
