Flaming April*

The Alm Hill Garden fresh-cut tulips were my favorite thing at the Bellingham Farmers Market today, although the first asparagus of the season and fresh rhubarb were close behind in second place.

My morning at the farmers' market was enhanced by my son W's company -- we both appreciate good, locally-grown food, so checking out today's bounty was a pleasure.

I'm wrestling with a cold, so will keep this short -- and will fall further behind on comments. C'est la vie!
