Poppies

The poppies in the bee bed are so beautiful just now. Perfect for Flower Friday.

Friends coming for lunch. Nothing fancy but it's a busy morning of prep. This time of year is so easy with salads and soft fruit. I don't think we can eat outside though. Too breezy. The good thing about eating at lunchtime is that you don't need much in the evening.

Today would have been my dad and his only just younger sister's birthday. They were born  in 1925. Happy birthday Dad and Sheila.
