Deutzia (Fuzzy Pride of Rochester?)

The sun shone now and again today. Unsettled weather, rather better than yesterday, we still had showers and a rumble of thunder.

We spotted this shrub on our walk up to Detling this morning, stopping for a coffee at the award winning Community Store.

I spent a couple of hours at the allotment keeping on top of the weeds, planting out some winter brassicas and picking the first strawberries of the year. Very sweet and tasty. Susan was in her studio, looking for inspiration for her next project.
