On Your Marks.......

Get set....Go!
This was taken by my son while he was waiting for the start of the London Marathon. You can see the sea of people before him.
What an amazing, inspirational and emotional day. I loved it all.
Saw a few famous faces which is always exciting.
Had a fantastic spot to watch the runners. My hands were sore and my mouth dry from all the clapping and cheering. But hats off to each and everyone who took part.
My sons time was 4 hours 13 mins. He was pleased as he got really bad cramp at the 20 mile stage. He even had to have paramedics try and sort him out. But he was determined to finish.
He was running for cancer research and had written on his back.....For My Nan, My Grandad and Grandpa.... I was so proud and so emotional when I saw what he had done.
Lots of friends came down to support him which was lovely and it was so nice that my holiday family came along too.
I have had the most wonderful day. For me it was a shame when it ended but I don't think the runners would think that!
