Fetch!

Had a great game of fetch in the garden today. I was trying to get Oscar to fetch the ball but he has no idea at all. Maisie is great and she will retrieve the ball all day long if you let her. Oscar on the other hand puts a ball in his mouth and just runs backwards and forwards with Maisie! We will get there no doubt.

He was a naughty boy again this afternoon. While I was hoovering he chewed through the cable and got a nasty shock. Silly boy, he really yelped. It frightened him though and wouldn't go near the hoover after that. But now I haven't got a hoover! No hoover and dogs...not a great combination!

My sons legs are really aching today but that's to be expected. When I was watching the marathon yesterday I really thought I can do that. There were people of all ages, shapes and sizes running, jogging, plodding and walking round. Then after bootcamp this morning I went for a run....after about 200mts I decided...no I can't do that!...... I'll do my Race for Life which is only 5k and be happy with that!

Off to swimming tonight. First pool session in three weeks. New coach...I wonder what he's like. I like my other coach he Just takes the open water now so at least I still have him. I've got a 5k charity swim on Sunday and I'd rather swim it than run it!
