Au revoir

Kristin left for the airport at 6am this morning. Our time together was ridiculously brief but equally as wonderful. One of those precious friendships that pick up right where they left off. Obviously, I wasn't going to sleep again after that with a city out there to explore. 

I went back up to my fave place in Paris, the Sacre-Coeur, and thankfully it was a little quieter than yesterday. Had my morning croissant in a cafe overlooking a cute little square with the Sacre-Coeur just in sight. Dreamy. After that, I checked out of the hotel and went down to the Louvre to watch a bit of the Paris 10km. From there to the Notre Dame and a wander around before a final lunch. 

Getting home was a bit of a trial. But I can't really complain, knowing how many people got their flights completely cancelled yesterday.

An absolutely incredible weekend in one of my favourite cities. It's been such a full and fun-packed half term and I've loved every single minute of it!
