What happened to Beans!
Really fancied a roll and beans for my breakfast this morning. Usually beans are purchased via the online shopping so didn't realise there were so many choices in the baked bean aisle now. These were pretty awesome and went straight into my malted grain bap!
Great RPM class this morning. We were all buzzing for our first ride out of RPM 58 together and as usual the stupendous one didn't let us down. It's seems a pretty tough release as it concentrates a lot on power training. It's a release that does really well at emulating cycling out on the road. The hill track, for example, doesn't have resistance turn down the whole track which is like it is on the road. Your rest comes from a reduction in cadence instead. In the Mountain track, you have standing attacks where you are out of your saddle pushing past the tempo of the song just like you would if you were racing to a mountain finish with a few of you trying to get past the post first. Favourite track is the interval track though. It's long and leaves you gasping for breath. All and all, fantastic!
My new training routine is coming along fine and I am noticing a huge difference in my cycling both out on the road and in the studio. Also got good news this afternoon that we managed to book into Accreditation 3 at the Velodrome next month so gives me loads of time to get out and put miles in on the road.
