half way home!

This is us just about at the half way point of our ride today. We still have the Crow Road climb ahead of us here but you then get the reward of the long descent into Lennoxtown. All my practicing on Miranda paid off and I managed to keep up with Phil on most of the descents today although we had a pretty strong headwind to push against. Didn't break the 40mph barrier but was close at 38.7.

We played at being proper roadies today. When we were along side the reservoir there was a wicked cross wind so we made echelons and changed leader constantly. Was good fun indeed. Didn't take the intermediate sprint jersey today that honour went to my partner in crime.

All in all, another fab pre-breakfast ride!
