Day 21 Mansilla to Léon

I have spent most of the day being a tourist in León. The blip is the view of the Cathedral from the cloisters. It has been splendid and I caught up with a number of folk I hadn’t seen for quite a few days, which is one of the loveliest things about the Camino. I’m pleasantly tired now so the last paragraph is cut and pasted from my fb entry today.
I walked from Mansilla de las Mulas into León with most of the day ahead, time enough to explore the Cathedral with its extraordinary stained glass, Gaudi’s Casa de Botines, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo, and a great museum with an entire floor dedicated to the Camino. Last day on the Meseta tomorrow and then I drift to Galicia with her green mountains, rain, and Celtic connection.
