Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Party time!

This morning I popped into a children's sale being held on our church hall by our mother and toddler group. A very friendly event and nice to see the hall back in use as part of the community. I got a couple of things for Josie - only polite really.
The church was very busy today, the Syrian Orthodox Church, which is actually Indian, use the church once a month. We had the sale, then a children's party in the afternoon and the flowers being done in the church too.
This evening was a treat. About a month ago I had an email from Vodafone to say I had won a meal for up to 4 people at the Chophouse in Constitution Street. Tonight was the night. We went with our two girls which was lovely, none of us could remember when we were last all out together. The food was delicious, we had starters, main courses and desserts . All we had to pay for was alcohol. I had a delicious fillet steak with Bearnaise sauce, cooked to perfection. Tempura prawns for a starter and a delicious cherry and chocolate dessert. It all tasted the sweeter for being free of charge. Desserts are in the extra.
