Court cleaning

I was quite glad that there was some cloud cover this morning otherwise the cleaning of the tennis courts would have been very hot. The children were off school today as it is a bank holiday weekend so there were a good number of parents and offspring to weed the cracks and sweep up leaves. We were all finished in a couple of hours so lunch was brought forward to 12 o’clock.We all sat down to various meats, cheeses and cakes. I returned home for a rest before setting off to join the visiting bell ringers.
