Castles...

Northumberland is full of them...

We went out today to have a look at some of them. This is Bamburgh Castle, probably the best known of all of them. We were lucky with the light, a very dramatic sky but it was quite warm on the beach but we weren't tempted to join some hardy souls in a swim.

The two extras are Dunstanburgh Castle and the often overlooked Edlingham Castle.
