Oh, the Azaleas are Blooming

We got up early to get at least one load of laundry done before having to leave for Brooklyn’s soccer game. While they were washing, I slipped out to get a picture of one of the azaleas that is blooming. The blossoms were still dew kissed. The final score was 1-1 and Brooklyn scored her team’s goal. We had to leave for Parker’s lacrosse all star game before we could even chat with Brook. We had allowed 1.5 hours to get there but maintenance on the bridge caused us to miss the first seven minutes. We have no idea why, but Parker’s team, made up of the best players on our tri-county league, was up against a travel team that plays together all season. They creamed us but Parker was thrilled to be chosen; he’s only played lacrosse for two springs and this is his first year in this league. Meanwhile, Kristen had her girl’s basketball team in Baltimore for a tournament. They lost the championship game 27-26. She was very proud of the team as the completion was fierce. We’d be lost without the kid’s sporting events. Hubby will cut the grass while I finish the laundry. Things are almost back in order from the trip. And I have a head start on assembling what will go to WV with us. Wishing you as much fun as possible. Life is short. No news yet today; may listen this evening. Thanks for stopping by. Sincerely appreciate your stars and kind comments. “Spring adds new life and new joy to all that is.” - Jessica Harrelson
