Life’s a blur when on the go
As John was cutting the grass on the ride on Charlie was looking for a large rock to play with, he found one and plonked himself on lawn on the next round of cutting. I intervened, he thought we were going to play by throwing it into the field next door, he headed that way barking. No, not the case, partly I couldn’t have thrown it over the hedge and if possible it might have hit him. I hid the stone, he found it, (in extra) ohhh such fun……
Just looking through the photos taken and a song from many years ago came to mind, ‘please please don’t pick the daisies’, looked it up to find it was sung by Doris Day, only with the words ‘don’t eat the daisies’. I think the reason it came to mind is the mantra we use ‘No cut May’ and here we are cutting off all the daisies, however when in Rome do as the emperor asks. And John looked happy. A few thunder storms in the last 24 hours, it remains very warm.
