Friday the 13th has never bothered me, but it did present a few challenges today.
The trainee (yes, her again), decided she was too ill to work, so went home at 10am. There were tears (from her, not me) just for added effect.
Although that meant double the work for me, it was actually easier to crack on with things without having to babysit and check up on what she was up to every 5 minutes.
My weekend started 45 minutes later than advertised due to having to help the dentist resend a referral that had been rejected. He was furious that it had happened; rightly so when it was all because we’d not added a text box with patient details onto the images we’d sent. The referral form had all the information on and the images were also clearly labelled on the file name. Bloody jobsworths!
By the time I got home, Mr A had just arrived too, so we had a nap before deciding to revisit the ‘Fawlty Towers’ Chinese again.
We went there for the first time last Friday and the food was excellent. The service, not so much so.
They’ve only recently opened, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt for a return visit, especially as the food was so good.
It was much less chaotic tonight but I did give feedback as we left that maybe the food service should be left to the two lovely young ladies, rather than the Chinese delivery guy (we assume the owners son) whose jacket was filthy!
By coincidence, we were seated at table 13 ;-)
